You’ve Arrived!

I'm so glad you're here!

A little about me: My friends & family call me Ree'. I'm a Breast Cancer Fighter & Survivor. I was diagnosed with Stage 3B lobular carcinoma in late January 2023. That's one point away from stage 4 non-curable cancer. Praise God we found it in the nick of time! I can gratefully say I am curable but I still have a long road ahead of me. I'm still fighting this battle but I'm determined to beat this war on my body and live to help others going through the same. Many days it's hard, but I try to approach this with an uplifting attitude and I think that's been a big part of my recovery.

PinkyPromise is my very own passion project filled with unique and engaging content on the topic of cancer. Explore my site and all that I have to offer—perhaps my blog will spark comfort, questions or help with curbing the loneliness in your life, as well. I'm a patient just like you and can relate to what you're going through. So, sit back, relax and read on!

Nice to Meet You!

An Open Book

Welcome to my blog. This is a place where I share my greatest inspiration-  living a happy & positive life and my cancer battle and journey. I will candidly display the truths and behind the scenes look at what it's like to be sick and a cancer patient through all the ups and downs with no sugar-coating. This includes: scans, tests, MRI's, chemo, radiation, multiple surgeries including a double mastectomy, tips, best products, exercise, family, caretakers, food, recipes, healthy living/healing and much more! This is a safe and anonymous space for all to find healing. Although, it's hard for me to share everything because I'm a private person, I do so to help others going through their own illness or struggles, whatever that may be. I think we've found some common ground on this topic of searching and striving for wellness through all the difficulties. I hope by sharing my story it will help others find courage, resilience, inspiration and comfort on their own journeys (or loved one's journey). Please reach out and engage—I love hearing from you and about your journey as well!

The Diagnosis

Hearing those four words, "You have breast cancer" was earth shattering. I remember the day I found out I had cancer vividly. I'll never...
